Outside Mounted Blinds
Outside Mounted Blinds
Width
  • Left to right: measure on the outside of the wooden or metal window frame.
  • Measure the exact width from left to right or the desired width that you would like the blind or shade to be.
  • Make sure the measurement is wide enough to cover the entire window.
  • For example: if your window area is 46 inches wide, you may like to enter 50 inches (2" each side) to provide maximum light gap coverage
Height
  • Top to bottom: measure the exact width from top to bottom for the desired height.
  • Recommendation: add 3 or 4 inches to this measurement to ensure maximum light gap coverage and to completely cover the window. Please take the head rail into account as it will be mounted above the window frame.
  • Note: some windows have trim that might interfere with mounting. It is essential to measure above the trim if this situation.
